Earley Area Guide
Reportedly one of the best places to live in the UK, Earley is a bustling town 3 miles to the East of Reading. It retains much of its old village feel and has several listed buildings, reported evidence of prehistoric man and is mentioned in the Doomsday book.
Made up of several smaller areas, this family friendly suburb has lots of beautiful green spaces and a picturesque lake situated in the Maiden Erlegh, nature reserve. There are six ‘good’ or ‘outstanding’ primary schools in the area and a secondary school.
The town centre has some a mix of well know high street stores but also a host of local independent shops. Restaurants are also aplenty in Earley, with a selection of international cuisines on offer along with local pubs serving classic pub grub.
